Platform Notice

Legal Disclaimer

Please read this disclaimer concerning browser execution bounds and independent status.

1. Client-Side Processing Bounds

FileForge functions as a browser-based, client-side utility catalog. When you merge, compress, or convert documents on our platform, the actual work is executed on your own computer’s processing unit using JavaScript frameworks. As such, FileForge does not transmit, review, modify, or retain copies of your documents.

Because processing depends directly on your device's hardware specs, memory capacity, and browser updates, we do not warrant that tools will run without interruption or that file conversions will be 100% correct in every scenario (such as with heavily encrypted or corrupted source files).

2. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall FileForge, its developers, or its operators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, loss of data, loss of business profits, document corruption, or system crashes) arising out of the use or inability to use our tools.

3. Third-Party Libraries & Marks

Our tools utilize premium, open-source client-side code libraries (like **pdf-lib**, **pdf.js**, and **JSZip**). All brand names, trademarks, or company names referenced on the platform are the property of their respective owners and are mentioned purely for comparative or educational purposes. FileForge operates as an independent platform with no formal affiliations.

4. AdSense Support Notice

FileForge is free to use. To offset our design and domain maintenance costs, we display non-intrusive, privacy-safe Google AdSense ads on the platform. These advertisements are delivered by Google under strict compliance guidelines and do not track or view the contents of any files processed locally.
